A RESOLUTION: AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT WITH VALLEY VIEW SPRAY SERVICE, LLC. FOR THE MOSQUITO CONTROL PROGRAM 2024.


BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF SHREVE, OHIO:

That the Mayor of the Village of Shreve is hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with Valley View Spray Service, LLC., for spraying mosquitoes in the Village of Shreve. A copy of said contract is attached hereto and made a part of hereof.

This Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure necessary for the immediate preservation of the public health, safety, peace, property, and welfare; further reason it is important to commence treatment immediately to prevent the early infestation of mosquitoes. Wherefore this resolution shall take effect immediately from here after its passage and approval by the Mayor.

Public Notice – Road Closure Update | Village of Shreve This is an update to the March 14 notice regarding road closures due to storm damage and downed utility lines. The majority of previously affected roads have been reopened. Wells Street remains closed at this time while AEP Ohio and Brightspeed continue repair work on the damaged utility pole. Residents and motorists are asked to continue avoiding Wells Street and to use alternate routes until further notice. An additional update will be issued once the street has been cleared and reopened. The Village appreciates the patience and cooperation of our residents. Shreve Village Hall
