Village of Shreve Resolution 13-2024

A RESOLUTION Amending the 2024 Appropriation Resolution 3-2024 passed March 18, 2024; 


BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF SHREVE, WAYNE COUNTY, OHIO TO PROMOTE THE GENERAL WELFARE: 


Section 1: DUE TO A NEED FOR AMENDING THE 2024 APPROPRIATIONS FOR FUND B92 AMRICAN RESCUE PLAN FUND ADDING 19,000.00 TO THE FUND FOR A WATER TOWER PROJECT. THE VILLAGE OF SHREVE DID NOT ANTICIPATE THIS PROJECT WHEN DOING THE 2024 APPROPRIATIONS THEREFORE THIS SUPPLEMENTAL APPROPRIATION RESOLUTION WAS PUT INTO PLACE TO COVER THE EXPENSES FOR THE NECESSARY PROJECT. 


This Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency by reason of the fact it is necessary to immediately amend the 2024 Appropriations to meet current expenses: and that is necessary, therefore, for the public peace, health, and safety and shall be effective immediately allowed by law.

Public Notice – Road Closure Update | Village of Shreve This is an update to the March 14 notice regarding road closures due to storm damage and downed utility lines. The majority of previously affected roads have been reopened. Wells Street remains closed at this time while AEP Ohio and Brightspeed continue repair work on the damaged utility pole. Residents and motorists are asked to continue avoiding Wells Street and to use alternate routes until further notice. An additional update will be issued once the street has been cleared and reopened. The Village appreciates the patience and cooperation of our residents. Shreve Village Hall
