Village of Shreve Ordinance no. 04-2024

AN ORDINANCE REGARDING THE KEEPING AND HARBORING OF LIVESTOCK, EXOTIC AND DANGEROUS WILD ANIMALS WITHIN THE VILLAGE OF SHREVE 


BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF SHREVE, COUNTY OF WAYNE, STATE OF OHIO TO PROMOTE THE GENERAL WELFARE AND THE SAFETY OF THE RESIDENTS OF THE VILLAGE: 


SECTION 1. Definitions. Livestock: Except as otherwise provided in this Ordinance, the definition of "Livestock" shall be hoofed animals that are typically classified as domestic farm animals including, without limitation, cattle, horses, donkeys, sheep, goats, swine, alpacas, llamas, and any miniature breeds of such animals. The definition of Livestock under this section shall be liberally construed by the Village. 



Exotic and Dangerous Wild Animals: For purposes of this Ordinance, Exotic and Dangerous Wild Animals shall be defined pursuant to the Ohio Revised Code and the Ohio Administrative Code.
