Exciting News for the Village of Shreve: South Market Street Bridge Project Selected for Funding The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) has selected the South Market Street Bridge for funding through the Municipal Bridge Program. This important project is currently scheduled for a construction award in State Fiscal Year (SFY) 2031. However, if funding becomes available sooner, the project may move up and be awarded in SFY 2030. The project will also receive federal funding for the Environmental and Detailed Design phases in SFYs 2026 and 2027, ensuring that the design and preparation work are completed well before construction begins. This investment marks a major step forward for improving local infrastructure and ensuring safe, reliable transportation for our community.
